Willis's Knee Problems Continue
In 2008 we all may have seen Willis's first season on a decline into retirement. Remember McGahee had a nasty knee injury in his last game in college and then came to the pros early. He did this because the next season, he would have lost his starting job to Frank Gore on the Miami Hurricanes offense. At the start of last year McGahee had to have surgery again on the knee and missed 3 games last year, mostly due to that injury.
This off-season #23 had more work done on the knee as he just can't seem to keep it healthy any more. With the emergence of Ray Rice and LeRon McClain it is starting to look as if Willis may not even make the opening day roster as a Raven.

Right now it is a wait and see on how McGahee returns from his surgery on his knee. If he can be a full go in spring games and looks good, then he will probably be the starting tailback over Ray Rice. However, if he can't it may be the end for McGahee, at least for this year. We will have more on this situation in August. For now I wouldn't put my money on McGahee if you paid me.
Fantasy Assets:
- Solid Offensive Line
- Good Skills when healthy
Fantasy Liability's:
- Very Bad Knee
- Not the Touchdown Maker (McClain is)
- Even if healthy he will be in a three back committee again
