Larry's and the Cardinals great run
2008 was truly a memorable one for Arizona. A season that almost ended with the Cards winning the Super Bowl against the Steelers. Fitzgerald truly became the star in the postseason he was supposed to be coming out of the Pittsburgh Panthers College program. Every game from the Falcons to the Steelers Larry dominated his opponent with or without Anquan Bolden on the field. This playoff run and regular season has made Larry our #1 wide receiver in fantasy football coming into 2009.
Larry Fitzgerald's Fantasy Ranking for 2009
Fitz's has amassed double digit touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. He has also accumulated 96 or more receptions and over 1400 yards receiving in those seasons as well. These states alone make Larry a top 5 wide receiver in any season but with his playoff run I believe he's gone to another level. Getting back to the numbers listed above won't be an issue and he could do even better than that in his week NFC Western division. After you draft your first round stud runner give #11 strong consideration if he is still on the board with your second pick.
