The Man Just Catches Footballs
Maybe Wes is not the greatest receiver in the world but man the guy just produces. True Brady not being around did cost him in touchdowns but he did still have another 111 catches on the season. That now gives him 223 catches in his first two years with the Patriots. If you are in a Points Per Reception league you are truly getting the max from this guy. Wes has also had 1,175 yards receiving in 07 and 1,165 yards in 08. There is no reason in my mind why he won't produce those numbers yet again.

Now that Brady is back look for Welker's touchdown totals to move back to around 7 for the year. Wes is not a game breaker but at times he can make a big catch. Right now look for Wes as a fine #3 receiver and a low end #2 receiver in your fantasy league. No doubt he's a #2 in PPR leagues.
