Owens Leaves the Boys and Goes to Bills
Jerry Jones finally moved his star receive off the team because of his cancerous ways. The common feeling is that Owens was to demanding for the football and it caused Romo to force the ball his way when he shouldn't. I agree that TO is the most selfish player in all of football but to me Owens is a clear scape goat for Tony and the Cowboys not getting the job done. This situation didn't seem to be a problem worth letting Owens go the other years he was in Dallas. Too be honest I felt that Terrell was dare I say "toned down" since the start of the 2007 season. He even shared a moment with the media and cry-ed about how their losing ways wasn't Romo's fault but the teams fault (see video at bottom of page). In the off-season TO signed a one year deal with the Bills and now has to prove he is worth a deal longer than that.
Terrell Owens Fantasy Football Value In 2009
Owens has a history of having good first years with a new team so he has that going for him. The fact that he signed a 1 year deal will give Terrell a lot of incentive to show the league he is a good boy again. I don't how ever like the location he is in though as Buffalo has very bad weather in December. But never the I do believe Owens will still post 1,100 yards and double digit touchdowns for the Bills. In your fantasy football league you should look at Owens as a great #2 receiver for your team. Lets face it this year is probably the worst season for depth at receiver coming into a draft I've ever seen. Owens may have problems but there just is not much talent that can rival what he can give you from day one guaranteed.
