Someone Has to Catch the Football
Last year in Smith's second season he had 57 catches for 574 yards and 1 touchdown. This shows me that he is probably going to be a solid #2 receiver long term for the Giants but clearly not a #1 long term. How ever this year the Giants have a clear need for someone to catch the football now that Plaxico is gone. I believe Steve will be the top target in New York this year for Eli Manning.

Look for Steve to total around 85 receptions for 1,000 yards and probably 5 touchdowns this year. Those are really good numbers for him in his third season in the league. I will be surprised if #12 gets more than 5 TD's because he just is not a big receiver, nor is he a game breaker. This means usually a solid possession receiver with the occasional touchdown. Look for Steve in the later rounds of the draft and I believe he will help your team throughout the year.

- Good Team
- Good PPR Receiver (Points Per Reception Leagues)
- Need for Someone to Step Up
Fantasy Liability's:
- Heavy Run First Offense
- Under Sized Receiver
