Back Slide Breaston
In Steve Breaston's 2nd season in the league he had 77 receptions and 1,006 yards. These are very good numbers for a #3 receiver in any year but he did only have 3 touchdowns to go with those solid stats. This year unless Anquan Bloden is traded or gets injured again, I see Steve falling back a bit in 2009. While he is a good receiver it is very hard for a #3 pass catcher to get 77 and 1,006 in any year let alone every year.
Steve Breaston's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Look for Breaston to post around 60 catches for about 850 yards and 3 touchdowns this year. He will be a very helpful player for his team and for Kurt Warners fantasy stats, but he's just not worthy of a starting spot on your fantasy team. At best I would suggest stashing him away cheep at the end of your draft and spot start him on bye weeks. If you own Anquan Bolden, then Breaston would make sense to own because if Anquan goes down Breaston is plug and play at that point.
