Can Matt Schaub Stay Healthy?
The Texans' offense broke out with a very solid year in 2008. Andre Johnson had almost 1600 yards receiving and 115 catches. Steve Slaton broke out with an excellent rookie season. Matt Schaub had a good season when he was healthy. However, that was the only real problem for the Texans' offense again this year, Matt's health. #8 has missed 5 games for the second season with Houston. If the Texans are to take the next step into fantasy dominance Schaub needs to stay healthy.
Matt Schaub's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Matt to me is a clear cut start in fantasy football this season. While he isn't a top 5 quarterback this year he is a low end #1 fantasy passer. With a strong supporting cast in Andre Johnson, Kevin Walters, Steve Slaton and Owen Daniels. The table is set for the Texans' offense to share in a year of success. They may even make a run at winning the division this year. With the Titans and Colts going through bad change this off-season and the Jags coming off a bad year, the Texans should compete all year.

- Strong Supporting Cast
- Great Yardage Maker
- Plays in a Pass First Offense
- Plays in a Dome

- Needs to stay healthy
- Needs to Improve on Touchdowns per game
