Ryan gets Another Weapon in Tony Gonzalez
Matt proved to us all that he has what it takes to succeed at the next level. With the physical tools and good mental decisions Ryan is on a clear path to being a fantasy start soon. He also has good skill players in Roddy White and now Tony Gonzalez to distribute the ball with. Matt's main problem right now from a fantasy prospective is that he is in a heavy run first offense. Until this changes, he will be a backup fantasy quarterback for a few more years.
Matt Ryan's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Look for Ryan in the later round of the draft as this kid does have skills and good receivers. Right now he needs to improve on his 14 touchdowns from a year ago. I see no reason he will not do this in 09 so make sure you have him this season if you want him.
