Look for Evans Touchdowns to Move Up
Lee has suffered these last two season with a young quarterback at the controls. While Trent Edwards is very talented it takes a quarterback a couple seasons until the touchdowns start piling up in the stat column. This year will be Edwards 3rd season starting under center and Lee Evans will now see more opportunity's to shine in 2009. I believe Terrell Owens coming to the team helps him as well. I've always thought Evans was a fine receiver but never have I thought he was a true #1. But now getting to face the #2 corner on every team Evans will be one of the best #2 receivers in football again. Just as he was in his early days with Eric Moulds taking pressure off of him.
Lee Evan's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Look for Evans to have 1,000 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2009. Edwards should have a fine season this year with a now great receiving core to throw with. Even though I have them as the 4th best team in the AFC East this division is very close in talent and the Bills could easily make a run at a wild card spot. If Tom Brady can not return and play at a high level the Bills may even steal the division title. In fantasy all you need is the Bills to stay in contention throughout the season and Evans will have a great year. Look for Evans as a steal in the mid rounds of your draft this fantasy season.
