Last year started out good for Cotchery, but in the middle of the year Brett Favre hurt his throwing arm and Jerricho took a nose dive. This year he will have strong armed rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez under center. Also Coles is now gone to the Bengals and that leaves Cotchery as the #1 receiver for the Jets.

#89 has had flashes of being a good fantasy receiver but he has never put it all together. What worries me the most is his poor touchdown totals the last two seasons. For a guy with this kind of talent to have only 7 touchdowns in the last two year is not good. How ever there is reason to believe now that Coles is gone Cotchery has a chance you help you every week. He may have a rookie quarterback but that QB has a top end offensive line and a great running game. tight end Dustin Keller will provide Jerricho help by taking coverage over the middle. Look for Cotchery as a middle rounds receiver in your fantasy draft.
