This man is falling apart
One has to wonder if this is the end for Shockey and his fantasy relevance. First in 2007 he was injured and complained about his team. Then when the Giants won the Super Bowl he did not go to the parade with the team to celebrate the win. Then he whines his way out of New York and goes to the Saints with old offensive Giants coach Sean Payton. Then in 2008 Shockey did not even have a touchdown the all year and missed 4 games. This off-season Jeremy had to be taken to the hospital in Vegas because he had health issues.

You would think a guy Jeremy's talent in the Saints offense would be a clear top 5 tight end. But this is all to far from the case and Shockey's issues just seem to get in the way. It's not like Jeremy has not had these problems throughout his career, it's just when he was younger he could still play at a high level. But now it seems he still has the issues but does not produce on the field. I would not recommend putting Shockey on your team this season. But if he should show signs of snapping out of his funk, pick him up because he still has talent and is in a great offense.
