Another Small Receiver?
While Maclin is a very talented player, I was surprised the Eagles selected him. Mainly, because they already have a receiver with his type of game in DeSean Jackson. To me the Eagles would have been better off with a receiver like Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks.
With one of those guys they would have a big and physical guy to go with the smaller, faster Jackson. However, maybe Donavon McNabb and Andy Reid still have PTSD when thinking about that type receiver because of Terrell Owens.
Jeremy Mclin's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Even though the Eagles now have two receivers that are undersized they should both have good years. Look for Maclin to start in year one as McNabb will be anxious to play with his new toy. In my mind Donovan is a great quarterback that has never had much talent at receiver in his career (other than TO). When he's had a good receiver, he was a top end fantasy quarterback.
Look for Jeremy in the late rounds of your fantasy draft and stash him away. He could end up being more valuable this year then DeSean Jackson if Jeremy can prove he has a nose for the end zone.

- Game Breaker
- Pass First Offense
- Good Team
- Very Good Quarterback
Fantasy Liability's:
- Undersized
- Still just a rookie
