Something to Prove in 2009
Jason in all respects had a coming out party in the NFL in 2008. Showing Redskins fans he was a quarterback with a big arm and could manage games to win. But with only 13 passing touchdowns he wasn't really close on the radar screen most of the year for fantasy football. This total also had management eager to make a run for Jay Cutler via trade in the off-season.
While Cutler was outraged about the fact that Broncos management would even think about trading him, Jason handled it with class. But make no mistake about it I'm sure Campbell was a little fired up about another player taking his job. This season look for Jason to expand on his touchdowns as he will be no doubt ready to show everyone he is more than just a game manager for the Skins.
Jason Campbell's Fantasy Value in 2009
While I do believe Jason will show himself to be a classy leader this year, he's only a draft pick in fantasy football in deep leagues. He does have a decent group of receiver but his starters are both small receivers (Santana Moss, Antwane Randle El). Sure he also has tight end Chris Cooley and that will help, but right now this is still a run first team with Clinton Portis. If Campbell get hot as the season goes along he may be a solid waiver pick up for your team to fill in at times.

- Good Offensive Line
- Big Arm

- Needs another receiver to step up
