Gore and the 49ers Offense
While Frank will probably never be the player that gets 1st pick overall in his career, he could someday be the best runner in a single season. 2006 he proved this in his first year in the starting gig for the San Francisco 49ers. Posting 1695 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns. Unlike other stud runners like Adrian Peterson and Michael Turner, Gore is an excellent pass catcher. As in 2006 again when he had 61 receptions for 485 yards.
Frank Gore's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
This game breaker really only needed two things coming into this season to ensure a repeat of those numbers. A steady quarterback and a go to number talent at wide receiver. True Shaun Hill isn't a dare, I say "sexy" quarterback option, but he moves the offense. Gore got a true gift when the 49ers selected Michael Crabtree in the 2009 NFL draft. Look for a strong 2009 season from Gore. Look for Gore as a solid #1 running back for your fantasy football team this year.
