Mason just finds a Way to Produce
Derrick's days of lighting up the score boards as a top 20 fantasy receiver are long gone. Every year I keep thinking this will be the year Mason drops off the table and becomes the #2 on the team behind Mark Clayton. But to Mason's credit he just keeps trucking along with 80 plus catches, 1,000 yards and 5 touchdowns. This past season he played through a nasty shoulder injury and that may have taken some of the wind out of his sails for this season to come. In the off-season he had surgery and is coming back slowly. With his lost time Clayton is taking reps with Flacco as the #1.

I've said it before and I'm going to say it again, look for Clayton to take over this season in Baltimore. Mark is heading into his 4th season on the team and took over with some big days at the end of last year. Mason will still have to deal with the #1 corner on the opposing teams defense leaving Clayton to dominate on the other side. Derrick should still make a decent #5 receiver on your team this year. Look for Mason as a late round pick on your team. If I'm wrong again this year Mason will still total the numbers listed below.
Fantasy Assets:
- Decent Quarterback
- Good Offensive Line
- Cam Cameron for an offensive coordinator
- Good PPR receiver (Points Per Reception Leagues)
Fantasy Liability's:
- Old
- Bad Shoulder
- Run First Offense
- Not a Game Breaker Anymore
