Sometimes it's just not fair for fantasy owners. In 2007 Edwards was a late round pick in fantasy leagues across the world and he went on to a 16 touchdown, 1289 yard season. That was the kind of season that volt-ed fantasy owners into the playoffs. Last season Braylon was a 2nd round pick in most fantasy leagues and he went out and killed fantasy owners. I personally have no right to complain about #17 because I was one of those that had him cheep in 2007 and didn't have him last year. But for those that did they will probably never want him again. Too be honest I can't blame them for being unhappy. Even if a team has a bad year this guy should have at least sniffed out 1,000 yards and 7 touchdowns. But no Edwards had 873 yards and 3 touchdowns in a healthy 16 games last year!
Braylon Edward's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Look for Edwards to have a Pro Bowl season in Brady Quinn's first year as the starter. I know last year was very bad but this guy is still a very good receiver in the prime of his career. It shouldn't work out that you draft a guy low and he has a awesome year. Then the next year he is drafted high and sucks, only then to come back the year after that and do well again. But this scenario is all to com-in in fantasy football and the NFL. I believe Edwards pride is hurt after so many dropped ball and poor stats a season ago. Look for him to be "quietly" highly motivated for this season. If you select him with your #2 or 3 receiver in the 5th round of the draft, I believe that is good value for him this year. You may even find him cheaper than that because fantasy owners are down on him and most don't like drafting players on the Brownie's.

- Game Breaker
- Touchdown Maker (forget about last year)
- Top End Fantasy Receiving Talent
- Good Young Quarterback
- Great Offensive Line
