Jacobs shines in feature role
In Brandon's second year as the New York Giants feature back he turned the corner into a top end runner. With 15 touchdowns and although he only ran for 1083 yards he was consistent week to week. Jacobs posses the best offensive line in football. While Eli Manning may never be a super star quarterback, he is a very steady game manager for New York. That works for a fantasy running back to have great success. Even his defense is one of the tops in football as well.
With the loss of Plaxico Burriss at wide receiver the Giants scuffled in the red zone. However, and fell to a 2-3 record; then early exit in the playoffs. The Giants drafted Hakim Nicks in the first round to help give them a big physical target they lost in Burriss. As far as their makeup as an offense the men in blue love to run two and even sometimes three running backs in a game.

In the end Jacobs will get his and also will receive a hefty bulk of all the touchdowns scored by the Giants' offense this year. As far as Jacobs rank he is probably the 10th best fantasy runner in the league. Mainly, because of his lack of carries/ yards, and he doesn't catch the ball that much. If you like a guy that give you a rock solid 80 yards and a score every week Brandon is a fine player for that.
