Adam Vinatieri's Fantasy Football Ranking

The Old Man is Still Hanging On
While it is clear that Vinatieri is not the same kicker he was 4 years ago, he still gets it done for the Colts. Last season he rebounded with 2, 50+ yard field goals and 4 other field goals from 40+. That may not seem like much but in 2007, Adam posted zero field goals form 40+ all year!
This off-season Adam had hip surgery. I will be interesting to see how he progresses, this spring.
Adam Vinatieri's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
Look for Adam as a back up kicker in most fantasy leagues this season. He just does not get enough opportunity's to shine from beyond 40+ anymore.
If Adam has problems coming back from hip surgery, stay away from Vinatieri this season.
